Last November, Mahra Villis – Director of our Gapuwiyak Academy selected eight students to attend a once in a lifetime trip to learn to surf at the Surfing Australia High Performance Centre in Casuarina Beach NSW. Students were selected based on strong school attendance and good behaviour.These videos are absolutely brilliant and a must watch – the first video shows the students preparing for the trip in Gapuwiyak, the second video shows the kids learning to surf in NSW (where there are no crocs!), and loving every second! The smiles and the joy on their faces is priceless.
